    9 mm maximum size?

    I have some 125gr bullets that measure .356 on two different calipers. Can these be used in a 9mm auto pistol? They appear to be Hornady FP XTP, although they are not in the original container. --TIA

    .356 might be a bit tight for 9mm...9x19, right? That is they might not chamber quite right. They might be tight in the mouth and commencement. I wonder if they started life intended for 38 Super?

    The correct bullet dia. for the 9x19 is .355''-.356'' so as long as the C.O.L. is within spec they should work fine.

    I might be tempted to try it too. I think I'd see if they chamber by hand and then mass load.

    Speer used to make a 125 gr SP with a diameter of .356 so your OK with it.
