NO.4MK.1 Long Branch Lower Band
Hi:
I am looking for a 1st. variation lower band for a Long Branch No.4 Mk.1 Lee Enfield.
It has to be LB stamped and not C broad arrow.
Can anyone help me as to where to get one?
Thanks
Phil.

I have a few LB parts, mostly new, but I have no idea what a 'first variation' band might be. I guess I'm more of a generalist. Can you specify?

lower band ID
Thanks for looking. A 1st variation lower band is early production ( 1941-43 ).
It is milled and NOT stamped from sheet steel. They have a sort of rounded look to them.
The stamped ones are just square and straight. That`s the best i can describe them.
The 1st variation would be marked with the LB stamp. The later ones have the C with broad arrow inside. I hope this explains it a little better. Thanks
Phil.

I got mine from Phil Rose in the UK - he even managed to dig out a hinged LB upper band for me, and they are quite rare. Someone here might know his email.

Middle band (the one withe the swivel)? Or the lower band (The one that's next to the action body)?
