Appears to be a Mannlicher M95 Trigger Guard but exactly which one, Dutch? Too short. Austrian, again not deep enough... Maybe it was altered a bit?

Thanks Jim - I initially discounted that it was a Mannlicher because it's too shallow, and having no experience with them didn't know what to look for.
Upon closer inspection it does look it was cut and the follower was raised.
Don't know why someone would do that or what they were trying to accomplish, but at least part of the mystery is solved.
