New to me No. 4 MKII
Heres my new to me, No. 4 MKII ....1949 Fabrinsky-but seems to have a Maltby barrel? Cleaned out all the cosmo-refinished the stock with 7 coats linseed oil...seems to have a nice bore..came with 3 full boxes of the ammo shown plus about 60 rounds of various rem, win, ppu, etc...
There was, however, an incrrect No. 1 magazine shoved in there-so Im seekinga No.4 magazine-probably order online
I paid 400 for all...not going to be a shelf piece-gonna shoot it and enjoy it-reload for it, etc...
I remember buying one from K-Mart back in 93 for $75 bucks-should have held on to it!
Thanks for the help on getting my forward trigger guard screw collar correct-no more wobble!

I've seen a lot of ways to spell Fazakerley - but that's got to be the strangest.

The quality of your rifle and the pictures more than makes up for your spelling. We'll spare you being boiled in oil -- this time.

Very nice rifle! And, a good price. Why are you thinking it has a Maltby barrel? Pic no. 3 shows a poorly struck "M" in a "U" which is a South African ownership mark.
