Picked up a pretty neat rifle at the Pensacola Gunshow last weekend. It is a Remington Model 30. It is a commercial version of the M1917. I guess the story is that after the completion of the M1917 contract at the end of WWI, remington still had the tooling to manufacture them. Starting in 1921, they built a sporter style hunting rifle using the M1917 action. It is really a neat rifle, light and accurate. They made them right up until WWII.
