    Seller says:

My next baby's almost here, and my guns are going to new homes

All matching except bolt, which matches itself. BCD42, nothing has been peened or messed with here, bore very good, all original finish, no pitting anywhere. NOT a capture piece. Shows honest use, no sanding or refinishing. Reportedly a bringback, but no documentation available. Comes with sling, cleaning rod. $1175 shipped.

No trades or offers, sorry, price is firm. There are nicer ones out there, but this has not been dicked with, and BCD is a very difficult code to find. PM for more info if needed. Thanks all for looking.

Looks nice with honest wear and patina and probably a nice grab despite the m/m bolt. I'd certainly want to see pics of the stock cartouches though.

As Claven2 says, subject to seeing the cartouches, plus the serial numbers (if any) matching on inside of handguard and stock, it's a pretty close market selling price.

If that old girl had a matching bolt, as well as the bolt components matching themselves, you could add another easy $500+ on top of the selling price for any serious collector. If that was the case, I'd stick it in an auction instead of a straight sale and watch them fight over it....

These darn "all correct" and "all matching" wartime K98kicon's are becoming incredibly scarce and I've seen few of them come onto the U.S. market lately, let alone our very small Canadianicon markeplace.

Knowing Joe is the seller, the rifle will be EXACTLY as described, buy with extreme confidence. Cannot praise Joe enough.

As far as price goes, it seems fair enough, its the first rifle of said code ive ever seen for sale, and in its condition and circumstances, we wont likely see any others.

I wish I had the cash available, but im g43 shopping...

Looks like the on hold caveat has been removed and the rifle is now available for outright sale ....

If I didn't have rent due in a week and tuition in two weeks this one would be on its way to me right now.

Joe says he bought the gun two years ago from the curator of the Calgary Military Museum. Buy the story? or Buy the gun?

In my opinion Pete, it's a "righteous" piece and priced at current market value, considering the missmatched bolt. It will definitely appreciate a lot in value over the next few years, as compared to RC's and other post war rebuilds.

    I think it's sold already....

    Badger
