Jungle carbine query

I've been looking at this rifle for a couple of months and wondering about its authenticity and history. I've read a few of the threads related to this type rifle and am intrigued by it. The pictures are not REAL good but give a sense of what it may be -

Looks like a normal No5 thats been fitted with Mk2 wood. I guess you'd have to take the trigger guard and forend off to see whats really inside.

He let me take the forend off but the picture didn't come out of the barrel markings. I think he would have let me pull the trigger guard but I'll only do that if I have the money in my hand to buy it. That way if it looks right I can buy it.

What does the ROF (F) stand for? And the serial number appears to have been ground off yet the numbers on the side and bolt do match.

2/45 is the date. ROF (F) is Royal Ordnance Factory Fazackerley. The serial number is in the right place. It looks like a legitimate carbine. Although the stock has been alterred.

No. Because the stock isn't right. I got mine for $350, but the bolt doesn't match. I think $350-400 is a more reasonable price, but it is an early carbine.

Looks legit. Correct markings and cuts on the reciever and barrel, hole in the bolt handle. If the lower forestock has no metal tip it is correct. Numrich and Sarco have the buttstock. Is it import marked?

Where would I find a mark that would say it had been imported?
