    Enforcer Number 217

Has anyone seen or heard of Enforcer 217 ?

It was not sent to a Police Force. It appears that it was sent to a Dr Campbell at E.R.D.E (Waltham Abbey) on 22nd April 1974.
This is several months after the first Enforcers were shipped so it cannot be for development work.
    Any ideas ?

Did this become Dr Campell's personal firearm? It might be a case of "it's not what you know, but who you know" that got the good doctor a very desirable rifle. Or; maybe the one they had for trials was already earmarked for issue, so No 217 was issued for "on-going evaluation".

E.O.D. personnel have been known to use the occasional precision projectile dispenser to remotely detonate pesky boom things. Barrett .50" rifles are currently popular for such tasks.
