Remington P 14 Enfield found small crack in the receiver. Now what do I do with it. Guess I sell it off for part.

I will post a picture as I can, holiday week and all. I did sand off the bluing and it is there just hair line crack but it is there. **** me off. I avoided buying eddystone for that reason. Now I am looking for a replacement for it. I is one of my dream guns to have.

Well before I sold it for parts I had a NDI done it Nondestructive Inspection. Good news no crack after all just a pit of rust that looked like a crack. I could not bring myself to parting out till I knew for sure that it was a crack.

you can also use lighter fluid, dribble the fluid over the ring, whipe with a paper towel, and the fluid will stay in the crack if its indeed cracked.
