Fellows:

]Is there any way to tell, via visual inspection, if your receiver draws are worn to the point of needing replacement?

I have a#4 that I believe is a rebuilt LB, perhaps a Greek return, that seems to be vertically stringing. In all fairness, the trigger pull-off is pretty awful and this may be a contributing factor.

Or is it a forestock bedding issue?

The receiver draws have been replaced, I believe, based on the fact that they are distinct inserts and not integral to original surrounding wood. I don't know if original draws were part of the original forestock, or added in at original manufacture.

I know there are many Enfielders out there...........is there a Geat Truth to this issue?
