    Pre-WWII "C" stock question.

Had a thought tonight. Were pre-war "C" stocks made from a better grade of walnut than the "S" stocks which preceded them? Just wonderin'.

I am not aware of any difference in the grade of walnut between Type S and pre-WWII Type C stocks.
