I sold the pictured N marked front sight the other day. The guy got it and here is what he had to say:
"Received sight today. I believe it is a fake. Oriqinals were not Blued.
The stamped N is not the right size or location. It looks as if it was
made with two different tools to form the N .
I would like a complete
refund since it was misrepresented."
I am giving him a refund, that's no problem.
It actually came off of a CMPUnderwood, so I doubt that it is fake. It is that dark blued/black finish that we see on many original, small Carbine parts.
Would anybody actually fake an N marked front sight?
What do you guys think?
