After several months of work and gathering information, I had an article published in the most recent July-August issue of "Man at Arms" magazine on the Red Star Remington Model 1903 rifles.
Through interviews, gathering documents, and original sources, I came up with what I hope will be the definitive story of these wonderful rifles. The story starts with describing the somewhat unusual circumstances by which they were imported, and later found their way into collections all over the United States. I describe the recent opening of two crates of these rifles which had not seen the light of day since they were packed in England
over 53 years ago. The article is profusely illustrated with almost two dozen original illustrations and photographs.
Copies of the July-August issue of "Man at Arms" magazine should be available at your local bookstore (Barnes & Noble, etc.) or wherever fine magazines are sold.
