Safety spring replacement for PH 5A sight
Hello everybody
Would anybody know what type of screw (thread and length) would be OK for use a the safety replacement longer screw for fixing a Parker Hale 5A target sight? AND where I might find one?
Thanks
Steve

Thanks A.
I may go that route yet but I only need the upper screw. I was just wondering if anybody knew what it was in BA really.
Cheers

Is the replacement spring used with the PH5A a flat spring?
If so the junker Lithgow
action I have has a flat safety spring. Could it work with my PH5A mounted to a 1915 Enfield?
Any images or instructions on how to properly mount these sights would be helpful.
PS
Found an image that suggests that a coil spring was substituted for the safety spring.

I guess I'd better go ahead and order the proper sized screws and spring from your source.
I got this sight

at a very reasonable price without the screws and spring so I'll still come out way ahead even paying for the screw and spring set.

I just cut a length of coil spring from my packet of them.
3BA is 'about' right for the screw.
