i got one of these and it really rattles around alot
...is that okay?
seems to me anything that loose on the front end of the barrel can't be good for accuracy. i guess the pronged one was an improvement, just not as cool.

There is no way I will use my M1D with my M2 FH on the end. It does rattle and it does get in my way. In fact I had problems hitting the black with mine at 100 yds. My opinion is in selecting a Garand
to be converted, it was a hit and miss situation.
OTOH, at The Collectorsource that price of the M2 FH was not bad. But the prices of the stocks were out of my price range, WAY out.

a number of years ago the CMP
had some M2 flash hiders for sale for $100. I bought one and it was exactly as shown for sale at collectors source. They sold out in about a day at the $100 price but I still felt I was paying to much.
