    Sg 3,403,xxx barrel question

    I'm picking up this carbine. It has a IBM barrel.........surely a replacement....right?
    It has a type II frt sight marked SG. First I've ever seen in person.

    "War Baby" page 425 says 4,500 barrels went to S'G' but I didn't see any going to S.G.

    Maybe Grand Rapids shared some, anyone know?
