Bayonet lug screw
Does anyone know the thread size for the screw in the bayonet lug for the 03a3?
I need to buy a tap and clean the threads on mine.
Thanks Tom

"United States
Rifles and Machine Guns, A detailed Account of the Methods Used in Manufacturing the Springfiled, 1903 Model Service Rifle; Also Descriptions of the Modified Enfield Rifle
and Three Types of Machine Guns" by Fred H. Colvin and Ethen Viall give confusing data. In one place they call a thread with a diameter of .185 and 26 threads per inch and in another place it calls out a thread with a diameter of .185 but 25 threads per inch. Could not find information on the screw so cannot which callout is more correct.
