IRWIN Pederson carbine CMP Auction

Have been following an auction on CMP, right now with 2 days left in the auction, being bid up now to $4,500.00 by a newer member, this is astounding to me, and why is this carbine going as high and higher??? anybody know?? Guess?

Here's another one. About all it seems to be is an original barrel on a reciever marked Irwin Pedersen. Most everything else is a mix. Could it be the serial number in the higher numbers of the allocated allotment? That guys going to be able to buy some nice Christmas presents. Yep, that one on gunbroker in S. Ga for 2000 is a lot cheaper. And it's from Detoliet.

I think of all CMP IP's sold only 3-4 have been 32xxxxx, they are hard to find, I think all have brought over 3000 and think couple of them never even had correct barrels.
