    Question What is my rifle?

    hey every one iam rey 30 years old been collecting war good since i was a little boy my dad has always had this 303 brittish and i never really knew what he had till he passed away and it was left to me it has a lot of sentimental value to me and now i have been reading up on it and iam confused at one thing how can i know its a real collectable it has marking like this it has the No4 MKI* the 0 is underlined and so is the k and then in eletric pencile it has ROF (F) FTR what dose this mean dose it mean its a replica or do i truly have something of history any one with info please help thank u

    p.s is this a true sniper rifle

    The Mk1* (with the star) sounds like a Canadianicon Long Branch No.4. On the surface from what you've provided as info, your rifle also sounds like it was FTR'd (Factory Thorugh Repair) at Fazakerley, but pics and more information on rifle markings etc., would be helpful.
