Test pics of No.8 .22 rifle variants

I am trying to duplicate the photo setup Skennertonicon used during his last visit. A light box for the object, a soft box and strobe light for illumination. There is still more to do to get it right.

Pictured from top to bottom is a trials No.5, No.8 prototype, No.8 Mk1 (New Zealandicon order, DA serial prefix), No.8 Mk1 Fazakerley production, and fiinally a No.8 Mk1, Shirley production.

I had two of those through time, but couldn't say which of the bottom two they were. I just know they REALLY shot! I could do 98 with 8 or 9X about every time. The #7's on the line could hardley keep on target most of the time. (Not the rifle's fault)
