Recovery of a Blue Sky M1 Inland Carbine

Recovery of a Blue Sky import M1icon Inland Carbine, 6-44 Inland barrel. This poor little mix master rifle looked like it was drug down 50 miles of Texas gravel road when I started. Reparkerized parts missing finish or rusted. Restored hand guard rivets. Stripped and refinished black soaked stock and hand guard, wood was sad . Stripped bore, inspected for roundness, lapped muzzle. Regrets, I once walked by 2 same make and date un-issued barrels for this little rifle at the Astro Hall gun show, price was $35.00 each.
