Happy new year to all of you. Over the holiday I visited the family farm in Jackson SC. It was a relaxing 10 days spent hunting ducks, quail, deer and shooting my No4T. I had my first opportunity to really work out my old Lee-Enfield. I fired nearly 250 rounds at ranges all the way out to 500 yds. Though this 1943 rifle has been very well used during it's career and has a bore that looks like a filthy sewer pipe-even when clean, it can still deliver accurate fire if the shooter will do his part! I continue to be amazed at the ability to remove bracket and scope from rifle then re-attaching only to find no significant shift in point of impact. Those H&H gunsmiths were/are truly talented.

My dog Bear - he loves the farm as much as I do!
I fired this 11-shot string - rapid fire - from the sitting position at 200yds.Information
