No5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine (CGN Private Ad)

This paticular rifle is not an original "Jungle carbine". This has been made up from a No4 and had No5 parts installed. The
receiver markings on the left side are not electropenciled in gold like they should be. The markings are just No5 Mk1 in hand engraved characters. I suspect the rear sight is not marked at 800 yards like it should be either. (edit: has changed ad to say it is marked 800)

Its not being sold as either legitimate or fake just "original". Since its no longer an orginal No4 and never was a No5, original is not accurate either. The price is way over the top for even a Legit No5. I would expect to pay $450 for a good example No5 and half that for a fake. If it came with a legit and proper bayonet, that price would be fair IMO.

That reminds me that i need to send Badger some pics of my half finished No5 project
