    IP Serial Number Block

I just purchased a "Saginaw" carbine online that has the following S/N:
187501x (last digit is a number). This would put the rifle near the end of the of the IP contract. My suspicion is that it is an S'G' receiver, not Saginaw. The rifle has an Inland barrel, not sure if that's correct (Underwood correct?). I won't know anything else until I receive it, how do I post pictures on this site and what format (JPEG?) works best.

Posting pics;Do not use Quick Reply, use Reply to thread. Scroll down to File Management. Browse your computor pics until you find what you want, open, load and go.What I do is have a seperate folder for internet pics resized to 800-900 x appox 500 pix. Doing this makes it easier to me.Most site don't want full size pics, they use too much space. This site is one of the easiest. No photobucket etc. needed. If I am wrong, please correct me as I don't want to steer someone in the wrong direction .Good luck GK
