    Breach Block Fitting?

How close should the tolerance be between the breach block and the reciever? Is it common for there to be a noticeable gap between them, when the breach block is closed?

    thank you,

    Trapdoor receiver gap

That gap you see is the gass escape cut in the receiver rail. It was enlarged several times over the production life of the firearm.
