    Hello from me

My name is Sid ( or at least that's what everyone calls me ) and I'm in the UKicon.

I found the site while looking for No4T and L42 information.

I'm interested in most military weapons but mainly ones which are constructed from steel and wood - I had a 'tacticool' phase but it didn't last too long.

I work as a self employed gunsmith and have been known to build and repair optics now and again - especially night vision equipment.

    Thats about it really

Sid, just had a great link sent to me by "superbee" for a gun seller in Englandicon. Has a couple of L42's with transit case and all the goodies should you need one. The site is classicfirearms.co.uk/home/php just in case you have a few thousand pounds burning a hole in your pocket. Welcome to the best site for enthusiast that exists.

    Ta for the welcome

I don't think I'll post again for a little while - there is so much to read first, the Peter Laidlericon articles alone are pure gold....
