    National Match?

I'm planning to look at a supposed National Match '03 this weekend, SN 1520242. Can someone please run an SRS check and verify that this is a valid NM number? Thanks much

    03 NM rifle number

That number is not listed in my SRS book. There are only two numbers in the 1520XXX group, neither of which is close to that number.

Keep in mind, Frankie, that not all NM rifles were listed on the SRS records. Look for specific features thast might lead to a positive (or negative) identification.

    1) Star Gauge barrel - look on the 6 o'clock position of the muzzle and look for the number on the top of the barrel, about 1/3 of the way from the receiver end

    2) Stock: Should have a D1836 and the serial number on the bottom near the butt swivel. Stock should be a Type C prewar stock.

    3) Bolt, raceway and follower should be polished
