Stock ID?

As I said in my earlier post about ejection pattern, I am dressing up my Inland in late parts for match shooting to preserve the RMC Highwood and flat bolt, etc. I just didn't like how light my birch potbelly type V SA stock was, so I sold it and picked up a nice walnut Type V potbelly. It is in excellent condition, except for a 1/2" crack on the rear of the recoil lug tang area. The crack does not, however, extend to the lug screw hole, but is superficial, so I am not worried. It is in excellent condition with a few surface dings, no dents. For $25, I can't get hurt.

The only marking I can find is san-serif "P" (NO CIRCLE) half way between the trigger guard and the bottom of the pistol grip. No crossed cannons, no cartouches or other marks of any kind that I can find. Nothing in the sling well, and no "SA" on the top edge of the slide channel. I have been giving it coats of BLO, but nothing else has developed.

I assume it is a late or post war replacement stock. Anyone have any idea who made it, or if my assumption is right? It will make a great match stock.

Update, After a couple coats of BLO, I think I see a very faint struck SA on the left top edge of the channel where my birch had it. The wood milling marks hide it. Never saw a P where this one is, though.

Now I need to find a 4 rivet walnut handguard in good condition so I can put my bull nose Winchester 2 rivet in the safe.
