I watched an excellent documentary about Gallipoli
It is done in Ken Burns "The Civil War" style with period photos, actors reading from letters, and modern recreations. It does a good job of telling both sides of the story (I believe it was a joint British-Turkish production) and describes the horrible conditions the men on both sides endured. There are several shots of SMLEs.
