Need some help.
Stripper Clips. There's a new guy on the block where I am, who advertises everything as "genuine WW2". I'm having an argument with him, as I don't like to see people ripped off.
He's trying to sell clips like this (and heaps of other stuff), as "genuine WW2". Now I don't think they are. See Warbaby Two, "approval granted (For Production) on 30.8.45." Who is right, the seller or me ? Does anyone know when they first appeared ........ Bill ?. Many thanks, Mike.

Mike you are right. While strippers were being developed as early as 1944 the use of them didn't really start till post war. They were in use by the Korean war and were in wide use by all of the UN troops equiped with US weapons.
