krag carbine ?

I saw a Krag carbine the other day but was not sure about it. It had the humped handguard..I forgot about the C stamp on the rear sight and did not look for it. It was an 1898 model and the serial number began with 10. It had a beat up stock and the cartouche was hard to read. It also had a bayonet lug. There was a slight bend in an otherwise decent looking barrel. It also has the Model 1901 rear sight.
