    03A3 Range Day ( Load Developement )

    1943 03A3 with 4 Groove Barrel.
Got to the Range today to test a Pig Hunting load. I will be heading to
Fort Hunter Liggett in 2 Weeks.
Weather was near perfect, 84 Degrees and just alittle breeze.
    100yds. off sand bags
    I Love this Rifle

This was the first 2 shots out of a Perfectly clean bore, Sierra 165SBT
I was Shocked they were dead on

This is Hornady 165 GMX all Copper bullet, which is required to hunt at Liggett.
This is really good grouping for this bullet, I have not been able to get it to group
very well in any rifle, so I will be trying Barns TTSX next.

This is the last 2 shots, again the Sierra 165SBT
These last 2 shots were taken with a Hot Dirty Bore.
15 rounds were fired between the first 2 and the last 2 rounds
Again I was totally Shocked, still Dead on

Nice shooting Hylander! I'm waiting for a K3 to come in for a sporter I'm working on and I'll be headed to the range, too!

Hey, isn't that one of those no D&T scope mounts?

At the range or hunting I just use a Bore snake with CLP.
I almost never use a Brush.
This time I used 2 patches of Butches Bore Shine, followed by Wipe Out treatment, followed by Butches, Followed by Wipe Out, Followed by Butches and then a few Dry Patches. You could have used the barrel for a straw it was so Clean.
    Wipe Out alone works Awsome
The all Copper bullets definatley foul the Bore more, but not to bad in
    this rifle.

Has Wipe Out changed the formula since 2003-04? I've read several comments on old forums that seem to disagree on the effectiveness and safety of Wipe Out, but they were written in the 2003 to 2004 time period.
