Hi partner ..
There are options that I think you'd like better ....
Please read these threads and let me know if the other color scheme is better for you ...
I don't like it...... (click here)

Just like the new Windows 7 operating system that came with the new computer I had to buy. As soon as I get comfortable with one format they have to go and change it!
Thanks for the info, I too am over 50 and that light brown was killing me, Brown shades give old people and colorblind people fits. I work for AT&T and the testing procedures when you used to hire on threw that color in on eye testing to weed people out. It is hard on the eye.
holy smokes look at all those smilees - but, I think the old color scheme was much better (I'm 50 & use FF3.6 so it's not a IE issue, just eyes). Probably could cobble together a greasemonkey script to "fix" things but am right now in the middle of a rite of passage (installing new safe, 10 feet in the last 24 hours where temps are in excess of 115F but anticipate getting it into the house by sundown tonight) and so am a bit preoccuped during this transition else i might make another "contribution" ...
I like the new format! My iPhone, doesn't, However!
What ever you did THANK YOU!!
Before this site was sooooooooo slllllooooooowwwwwwwww tooooooo load that I would almost not want to wait. But now bada bing bada boom it works awesome .
Thanks again!!!!!
Not sure why ...
Tested on both my iPhone 3g and 3gs (both using OS4), as well as iPad, using regular Safari browser on all of them. It operates fine here and views just as it would on a PC. ...
Milsurps.Com has also installed specialized support for three applications for portable phones. Forumrunner and Tapatalk are Apple apps for iPhone and iPad (check App Store for both "free" for tesing and paid versions of both), however, I personally prefer Forumrunner, as it looks and feels more natural to me when using it. I also use BerryBlab for RIM Blackbery devices. All work well, of course, within any limitations those applications do to translate functionality. Search for them on Google.
Finally, a really nice "quick and dirty" text interface that is terrrific for speed, but lacks the graphics bells and whistles, is our Mobile device interface. It's also terrific for regular PC users who are on slow connections such as the old 56kb dial-up access. When you are on your iPhone, Ipad, Blackberry, or almost any PDA phone, Look at the very bottom left corner of the web site and select Mobile and you'll see what I mean. To switch back, select Full Graphics Mode at the top of the screen.
If I can help you with any testing, please send me an email.
By the way, it looks fantastic and is realyl fast on my iPad (3g/wi-fi with 64gb) ..
Regards,
Badger
Edit: Forgot to mention that Forumrunner supports the iPad in full screen native mode.
