A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Paul.
Did you pick this one up this weekend?
I ask because a good friend Charles Waldrop in Bhama mentioned there was a pretty big show near him this weekend.
I have him looking for a late type III NPM flat hammer and N14 flat bolt for me.
No real shows to speak of in my area........ More like what Charles calls Flea markets.

Looks like a great find with very minimal wear.
    Look forward to more pictures.

    In The Spirit of collecting!
    Regards,
    Charlie-painter777

    Paul,

The picture doesn't show the barrel. What barrel band does it have?

Thats the best part about this puppy, it is stamped 10-49. I own a Standard Products with the same barrel. It has a type one band no mark man it's fun collecting these things. Painter yes we had our summer show in B'ham.

We had a show this weekend up in N. E. Ohio. There were at least 40 carbines on the tables. I suspect most were CMPicon purchases that were coming up for sale now that CMP is almost out of them.
