They are still out there, a lot of UK
dealers use the USA
ebay site, where you can still list them, you will notice the item is UK based but priced in $. when searching make sure you click on the worldwide search.
See the sticky at the top regarding my experiance due to a listing which mentioned knives.
In the end I found a Vickers on ebay from a seller not too far from were I live so picked it up, again it was listed on the USA site.

UK
dealers are not banned from selling bayonets and many i know still do regualrly it is just that UK residents or registered EBAY users are not supposed to be able to buyt them. People int he UK can still buy bayoents etc just not officially with ebay

I think that that fair would be a little out of his way from New Zealand
!!
So I can't spell, so what!!!

Only realised after I posted that, nzl1a1collector,s location was NZ, guess it would be an expensive dayout.

Another Auction facility that has taken over where Ebay have closed the door on thier 'Prohibited Items' Is Specialist Auctions. Based in the UK
, they allow anything that Ebay dosent. IE: Deactivated Weapons, Knives, Swords, ANYTHING Nazi Marked WITH Swastikas, Etc, Etc. Might well be worth a try.
