    And Another Cartridge Quiz!

There are a few scarce ones here, good luck! I put a 7.62x39 M43 in the middle to provide a little scale.

Ouch! It's actually a pretty small chisel-pointed bullet.

No, much smaller, it's an 8mm round.

    8mm

looks like a 8x63 or 8x59 difficult to tell apart - also looks like a AR-15 whisper variation and some 9x39 Sovieticon variations, too much weird stuff to be able to identify

OK, I'll give you one; the longest is an 8x63 Swedishicon MG round. You're not too far off on 8x59 for the round nose to the right of it.

    Yes! That's a tough one.
That's 2 of the 6 mystery rounds. I'll post the answers tomorrow. There are LOTS of weird and interesting cartridges out there.

    Cartridge Quiz

The cartridge or clip quiz can be fun and interesting but very advanced or little known (weird) examples can cause a loss of interest. If I had not made-up an example of the 8mm Ribeyrolle years ago, I would never have been able to identify it
