I've looked high and low, and haven't managed to find one, so I'd say pretty rare!
Do you have pics?
They're not exactly dropping out of the trees in this neck of the woods either.
Are we talking about a 1903 dated:
a) SMLE Mark I.
b) SMLE Mark I Cond.
c)SMLE Mark II Cond.
Or is it a 1903 dated rifle that has been upgraded to a SMLE I*, I** or I***?
If it's an SMLE I***, it's not that hard to find, the others are a greater challenge.
Yup. That's pretty much my Holy Grail right there....!
If I have one they must be fairly common
Sorry, not '03 though. One thing in it's favour is it's still a MkI*
