I recently picked up a well worn 1914 Colt in a transitional serial number range, 87216. One of the first with 1913 patent date and one of the last with the early Colt small parts with the smoky blue color.....all parts are original to the pistol. It's pretty uncommon to find one of these that hasn't had a bunch of parts swapped out. The recoil spring guide has survived with the pointed tips and the stop plate is the early type too. How it remained intact after all these years is pretty amazing. The holster is a commercial and the web belt and magazine pouch are original GI. Purchased from Scott Gahimer. Regards, Rick.
