This is a question for the experts on the site. I have been offered a 6.3 million Inland carbine which the seller has represented is all original as manufactured. When I looked it over, I saw tht the type III barrel band has a JM marking on it. The only reference source I could find that mentions a JM marked type III band is Riesch's text, which says the JM marked band is a post-war band. If so, the gun I was shown is not original as manufactured. Do the experts on this board concur? Looking forward to your input/advice.Information
