    Importing actions to australia

    Hi peeps.

I have recently acquired a mint condition m1917 ( i think) stock complete with front volley sight and all the hardware, only thing missing is a barrel and an action. I assume its an eddystone build (theres a single capital E on the volley sight)

Do any of you guys stateside know of any dealers who will sell to overseas, or has this been placed in the over legislated too hard basket?

Can't help you with any of the export business but if your stock has the volley sight i'd say it's a P-14 and not a 1917.

I believe Brian Dickicon is able to help out. I have never used him before so can't comment other than that.
The paperwork and so on is the same as a complete rifle. Your other option is to wait for someone that has sporterised their P14 and is selling it cheap in Aus.

Seen plenty of sporterised P14's, but they have all had their ears milled off.
