Received a couple from Numrich Arms recently so I could employ an original scope on a K98krifle of known accuracy.
They're cast, but extremely well, and accepted the scope quite well.
Next concern was fitment on the rifle selected, so the original sight, spring and ramp were removed. The new ramp/mount was a very tight fit, so tight that at first I thought some precision fitting would be needed. However, a little tapping w/ a medium-small plastic faced mallet seated the unit. Same for the sight spring.
This may very well be the nicest reproduction part with which I've ever dealt!
Photos to follow if there's sufficient interest. Bear in mind this is just the first report of a larger project.
It's just that good news doesn't get out as much as the bad.
