Unbelievable e-bay item (No.4 rifle spares)

Would you believe that someone is bidding £112 for a standard No.4 rifle backsight axis pin, plunger and spring on e-bay at present? There have been boxes of the last two on sale over the last year!

I don't suppose I could persuade you to put a No 4 tubed foresight and mount on instead could I ?

I've been looking for 3x months ...rarer than hen's teeth it would appear.
I've been offered a butchered one on ebay for £65.00 and Bob (ahem aka Robert ) at Fultons has yet to search his drawers.

You know what they say about fools and there money. I spose most edumacated peoples like us know what an approximate price is for something like that, some people will bid on anything at over inflated prices. Just like the no4T sniper scope on evil bay at the moment, it has been on with no bids and each time it gets put back on its coming down in price, as it started at 4 plus grand and is now on there for 3 with no bids.

Original No. 32 Sniper Scope and Accessories. Yep thats the one, though the seller does state that the mounts are repro, and the box has been resprayed at some time. If you wernt after it for the originality it wouldnt be to bad i spose.

It is decidedly odd given the items are relatively easy to get hold of.

The really strange part is at least here in the U.S. you can often with the more common pieces go to one of the normal places selling Enfield parts and get the same part for less money and lower shipping cost.
