The seller has not been paid yet.
I'm finding that you get paid for about 1 in 4 items you sell on Ebay lately. The seller has no protection anymore and it seems every second bidder wants you to cancel their bid. This is why GUNBROKER is so popular now, as well as not having to deal with the ultra Liberal minds of Ebay...if it even smells of oil it must be a gun or gun part and then it is banned.

The bids are all private listings, so guess his mate has been bumping up the price.

Must admit I break out into a sweat at the thought of paying $179 for a rifle, and if it wasnt his mate bumping up the price then I would like to meet the winning bidder as I have a few items he may be interested in, and could probably retire.
