    Another WW2 barrel manufacturer

Buffalo Arms manufactured M1icon rifle and carbine barrels during WW2. I have found the following revisions: revision 13, revision 19 and revision 22 on M1 rifle barrels.Attachment 22963Attachment 22962

Anyone else found any additional revisions ?

    These barrels are not dated.

If you had asked me before I read this, I would have said BA was Benicia Armoury. Now there's one more thing to watch for.

    Buffalo Arms Corp

Attachment 23000The Buffalo Arms Corp was located in New York state and during WW2, manufactured Browning machine gun parts. They also manufactured M1icon carbine barrels for new production carbines. They manufactured M1 rifle barrels as replacements used during WW2 and the post war years. Buffalo Arms also published a monthy newsletter for employees titled "The Accelerator", I have some of these newsletters.

The revision 13 BA barrel in the photo was installed in a 80,000 receiver and has the swaging roll to correct a light draw on the barrel.
