    L42A1-Enforcer-L39A1-No8MK1

Our youngest daughter is getting married in October and the time has come to pay the bills. I am seeking advice about selling the following weapons in today's market.
    They are as follows:
L39A1 excellent condition and still has an armory tag attached.
L42A1 All matching-Case-Spotting scope-attachments with repo IWS mount
Enforcer #486 with Pecar scope (not serial# to weapon) with P/H iron sites
All of the above weapons have had their serial #'s checked in survey on milsurps
Also I have a No8Mk1 which I believe to be the last one No8 manufactured (Serial #A22750).
Any help as to real selling values would be deeply appreciated. I live in the US so out of country exportation, I have no idea,

    Thanks in advance

Eighteen months ago I bought an excellent condition L42A1 in the USAicon with CES for $3,000 through a private sale.

Two years ago I bought a truly excellent L39 with PH sights for $850 also from a private sale in the USA.

I can't help with the rest as I've never seen them for sale locally - but when you decide what you want for them, I'd be interested in adding them to my collection.

Don't be put off if you aren't in the US. BDLicon has a lot of experience at the firearms export business.

Regarding the No8 rifles, as I understand it, the NZicon DA prefix No8's were the last made, at the BSA factory. This was due to a bit of what might be called 'chicanery' or a misunderstanding in polite circles or just plain honest dishonesty (?) by BSA managers hoping to make a few £££££'s while wisely in my opinion, using up existing stocks of parts

    No. 8 market value

Over here, from 400 to 600 euros, depending on condition and the whims of the market. No number-valuation observed. (I track every No. 8 that is offered online). Add 50-80 if you have the AJP add-on horizontal (windage) backsight, 100-150 if you have a full diopter Parker-backsight (for No. 8 or No. 4, doesn't seem to matter which - people just go for the diopter function) and around 150-200 if you have a Parker backsight AND the foresight tunnel for blade inserts (these are rarer than the backsights).

In other words, these trainers seem to be bought by shooters who value them according to their shooting potential. D... right too - my No. 8s shoot better than a lot of so-called target rifles!
