What's the Function of the "Friends" Feature?

If it's like "Facebook" that no help, because I have never even visited that site, being an anti-social machinist/engineering type.

Not that I have any known enemies in particular!

Just curious, as there have been some "friend" requests on the notification thingy. I agreed, but wasn't sure what the agreement meant!

Click on the tab at the top of the forum titled FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

You will see a field titled Search FAQ. In that box type "friends" and hit enter.

You'll find a number of entries that talk about Friends, Contacts, Ignore Lists etc…..

Also, if you check the "Quick Links" and "Community" drop down links at the top of the forum, you'll be able to see options called "Friends and Contacts" to view your current list of those members, as well as "Contacts Pop Up" which will show you any of of them who are currently on-line, so you could initiate a "chat session" with them.

    Regards,
    Doug
