Hello all. Just picked up a Standard Small Arms peddle scheme LE today, dated 1917. Very nice rifle. Wondered if anyone was familiar with this marking. On the bolt track next to the SSA is the marking AD. Also, on the bottom of the buttstock is a six pointed star with the letter E beneath it. Any thoughts? Am about to take it down to clean it, can't wait to see the myriad of markings on it. Will have some pics soon. Thanks!
