Hi guys, can anyone help me with what this marking is, can't find it in any of my books. It's on a No4 Mk1* I've just tuned up, just curious. Cheers.

The marking that looks like FWW on the left side of the reviever is the mark of a german dealer named FRANKONIA in WÜRZBURG Germany
. It means FRANKONIA WAFFEN WÜRZBURG.

The butt socket marking looks like a sideways Canadian
property mark- "C broadarrow".
Why the "ALnumber" below the Long Branch S/N?

came up with the info in a recent thread: additional serial/inventory number on No. 4 Enfield - got one?

Glad that was cleared up. I thought it was a Space Invaders import mark. Whew!

Does look rather Germanic to me.
