1932 Springfield 1903 barrel SA 7/32 I am told this is a single bolt forward? . ser. 12475xx all original, and graded 96%?

Thanks for the nice pictures. Just for curiosity, is there a "circled S" on the fixed rear sight base on either side? A single stock bolt forward is usually seen on a Sedgely-modified rifle. However, most of their rifles are low-numbered and sometimes have M1917 and Krag parts.

Your rifle dates from about 1922 and has a replacement barrel, if the barrel is a 1932.

nice rifle, to add to what Rick said, stock is a replacement as well, needs to be on a 1910 or earlier rifle, has a SC 1903A3 sight hood, what bolt markings are present? noticed an A3 cocking rod, and SC cutoff.
stock is nice even though refinished as some point...though not all original, its is a good shooter, if you drop it in a correct double bolt stock, or even a nice early C stock.
not even close to 96%, closer to 60 or 70%. 100 % being new unfired.

Stocks with "forward" stock bolts and no rear bolt were usually Sedgely. The "normal" one bolt stock had a "rear" bolt but no foward one.

Yes, I will check the sight when I get home, I put the hood cover on myself. Yea wasn't sure about all the info on it, I had a guy who seems to know 1903's and those terms I mentioned were what he told me.

Yep, once upon a time that stock was a no-bolt "high-wood". Still high on one side, but next to the cut-off, it looks like a chunk is gone.

The stock is a reproduction. It never was a high-wood, no-bolt stock.

Just took a quick peep, and didn't see a s on the rear sight,
I plan on taking some better pics of the rifle, hopefully this week. Headspace is good - I can't wait to shoot her!

I see you say to install a different stock using 2 bolts, will this be not ok to shoot with the current setup?

It will not interfere with being able to shoot your M1903, having just the one bolt.
