This is the experimental trial ammunition for the BritishEM-2 (Rifle No9MkI) and experimental FN carbines (CAMP ect) which evolved into the Belgian FN-FAL
From what I understand this is the .280/30 (.284”, 140gr mild steel core ball) .
Salmon Pink tip 140 grain Mild Steel core “Type C” bullet
Headstamped “RG” (Radway Green) “49” (1949) “280/30” (280 cal bullet, 30 cal base case)
